Who we are
A painting company built around the phone call
Call Tip Top paints houses, townhomes, offices and storefronts across Naperville and the towns around it. The work runs from a single room or a stained staircase to full exteriors, brick, decks, fences and commercial repaints, and every one of those 40 services has its own page explaining how we do it.
We take requests by phone, and a person answers any hour. That is deliberate: a short conversation tells us more about a job than a form can, and it means you talk to someone who can actually schedule the visit.
Every job starts with a walk-through and a written estimate that lists the rooms or surfaces, the prep, the products and the schedule. What is on the estimate is what we do.
How we work
Four habits on every job
Look before we quote
A walk-through of the rooms or the outside of the house, with soft wood probed and repairs listed before any price.
Prep before paint
Patching, caulking, scraping, sanding and primer where the surface needs it. Prep is where paint jobs are won or lost.
Clean as we go
Floors and furniture covered, rooms cleaned each evening, and hardware put back where it came from.
Walk it with you
A final walk-through to catch anything that needs a touch-up while the crew and the paint are still on site.
Where we work from
Two offices, one schedule
The service office on Mecan Drive in south Naperville sits by Springbrook Prairie, among streets of mid-1980s homes, and schedules jobs across DuPage, Will and Kendall counties.
The head office is on Industrial Drive in Gilberts, in an industrial park on the I-90 corridor, and covers Kane County and the Fox River towns from Elgin to Aurora.

When we are booked
If every crew is already busy
Most days we can schedule an estimate quickly. On the rare day every crew is booked, or a job needs someone sooner than we can get there, we may pass your call to another painter we trust in the area rather than leave you waiting.
That painter is a separate company that sets its own availability, prices and terms, and whether to hire them is entirely your choice. When we can do the work ourselves, we do.
