Updated October 2026
The short version
Kitchen cabinet and interior painting in West Chicago, IL update homes from the historic downtown to newer neighborhoods. We paint cabinets and interiors all year and exteriors from late April into October, scheduled from our Mecan Drive office in Naperville.
A town born at a railroad junction
West Chicago was first named Junction, then Turner after railroad president John B. Turner, and it grew around the first railroad junction in Illinois. It took the name West Chicago in 1896, reincorporated as a city in 1906 and had 25,614 residents at the 2020 census. The Turner Junction Historic District covers downtown, where the 1884 Turner Town Hall now houses the city museum.
Kitchens in homes of every era are the most common update, from original wood cabinets to newer builder finishes.
