The short version
Interior painting in Lombard, IL often starts with wallpaper removal and wall repair in established homes, then primer and fresh color. We paint interiors all year and exteriors from late April into October, scheduled from our Mecan Drive office in Naperville.
The Lilac Village
Lombard, known as the Lilac Village, had 44,476 residents at the 2020 census and has held an annual Lilac Festival and parade every May since 1930. It shares its early history with Glen Ellyn as the Babcock's Grove settlement, with Lombard growing on the east side and Glen Ellyn on the west, and today the village is bounded by I-355 on the west and I-88 on the south.
In established homes, wallpaper and borders from earlier decades are common. Removing them properly and repairing the wall underneath is what makes new paint look right.
