The short version
Painting in Gilberts, IL is handled from our head office on Industrial Drive in the village. Most homes here are newer, so jobs are first repaints inside, cabinets, decks and garage floors. Interiors run all year; exteriors from late April into early October.
A village that grew six-fold in twenty years
Gilberts had 1,279 residents in 2000, 6,879 in 2010 and 8,366 at the 2020 census, which means most of its homes are only a couple of decades old. Route 72 reached the village in 1930, and today our head office sits in its industrial park along the I-90 corridor, with Huntley bordering the village to the northwest and Elgin a short drive east.
Homes this new usually need first repaints rather than repairs: builder-white walls, two-story rooms, decks on their first stain cycles and garage floors still bare concrete.
