The short version
Siding painting in Montgomery, IL usually starts with a proper wash, since vinyl and aluminum siding collect grime and chalk. We paint siding and trim from late April into early October and paint interiors all year, scheduled from our head office in Gilberts.
Graystown on the Fox River
Montgomery sits on both sides of the Fox River in Kane and Kendall counties. Settler Daniel Gray named it for Montgomery County, New York, and the village was incorporated on February 17, 1858. It had 20,262 residents at the 2020 census, after growing 237 percent between 2000 and 2010, so a large share of its homes date from that decade.
Siding from that decade is usually vinyl. It paints well after a wash, as long as the new color stays within the shades rated for vinyl.
