The short version
Painting in Kane County, IL is handled from our head office on Industrial Drive in Gilberts, on the I-90 corridor. We paint interiors all year and exteriors, decks and brick from late April into early October, finishing jobs west of the Fox River a little earlier in fall.
Painting along the Fox River
Kane County had 516,522 residents at the 2020 census, the fifth-most populous county in Illinois. Geneva is the seat, Aurora is the largest city, and the biggest towns line the Fox River. On clear, calm fall nights a few spots west of the river drop into the upper 20s before the city does, which is why we book Kane County exteriors a little earlier in the season.
The Gilberts industrial park sits on I-90 with access to Route 72 and Route 47, which puts Elgin, Huntley, Algonquin and the river towns within a short drive of the office.

Exterior jobs west of the river are booked first in the fall window because they can freeze earlier. Commercial and warehouse work along the I-90 corridor is often scheduled at night or on weekends. Interior and cabinet jobs run all winter.
